Valentine's Day Weekend in Prescott (not what we planned...)

We knew there would be snow in Prescott, but we never dreamed we would get stuck in it!

Prescott is so beautiful when it is white :)

When Travis and I see snow we have to be out in it.

We were coming back to the house after lunch in town on Saturday afternoon to find out that our little SUV could not make it up the neighborhood hill. So we had to abandon the car on the highway and hike back to the house.

Unfortunately, on Sunday morning the snow was even thicker!!!

So we bundled up and began our journey...

We once again had to hike, this time to get to our vehicle.

Once we got to the car, it was buried in snow and frozen shut...

& once we got into the car, of course it wouldn't start.

This nice Titan assisted us with starting up again,

but we still couldn't get it up the hill to the house.

Instead, Travis and I had to hike multiple times back and forth to pack up the car to head back to Phoenix. We spent the couple hours of hiking just laughing about the situation, and it made for great quality time together!

(Travis would have liked the time in the snow a lot more had I packed him a winter coat and snow boots... oops :)

Note to self... purchase a vehicle with 4-wheel-drive; you just never know when it might come in handy!

Girl Scouts visit Dr. T @ Family VetCare of Chandler

Dr. Trav was visited by a group of girl scouts at the hospital!

He loved showing the troop all of the ins-&-outs

of the veterinary world.

Hopefully these animal lovers will look to a career in the vet field in the future :)

WE have Bieber Fever!!!

Ok, so we really aren't obsessed, but after seeing the movie we believe JB is a child protege and has an amazing future ahead of him --- he is very talented!

Stephanie matched her movie snack - haha.

Sadly, Steph is back on her way to Boston!

But, we sure shared some super-fun dates while she was here:)

Super Bowl 45 - Party

My parents hosted the Super Bowl 45 Party this year! We had a wonderful time eating, laughing and watching football! Go Packers!

Wodiske Family Doctors!

Michelle and Kyle were visiting for the weekend and the Chances called us about their dog Dakota. Dakota was in a narly dog fight and needed some emergency assistance from Dr. Trav. Since it was late in the evening, Dr. Trav used Michelle, Kyle and I as his trustee techs! Dakota was roughed up pretty bad, but we all pulled together and she is doing much better now!

Kyle's Elk Hunt Video - Viewing Party

Travis had worked countless hours on creating a video of Kyle's last November Elk hunt.

All of his time and energy payed off!

His parents hosted a viewing party for all involved in Kyle's Big Hunt to come over and enjoy the fruits of their labor.

The video is a jam-packed 45 minutes of hunting fun!

Suns Game #2 with the Ingrams!

Game 2! We shared another energetic night with the Ingrams at the Suns vs. Thunder game. Although we lost, we still had so much fun!!!

Travis and Lauren won because they had the lucky seat numbers!

Waste Management Phoenix Open with Jami

Jami and I shared a fun day at the Waste Management 2011 Phoenix Open

It was a pretty chilly day on the greens so we bundled!

(... As you can tell from the photos we had to sneak the camera in. haha)

As the Chaos in Egypt Intensified... Stephanie Returned Safely back to the USA!

After an extremely dangerous 3 week trip to Cairo, Egypt... Stephanie returned safely back to AZ! She had planned to work there until May for Habitat for Humanity, but God had other plans. With the help of Boston College, her parents & Habitat for Humanity... Stephanie made it home last night.

Travis and I (and about 15 other close friends and family members) surprised her with love and open arms as she came off of her plane. (She left Cairo on a chartered plane and was taken to Amsterdam for safe keeping; from there she traveled to Atlanta and then finally AZ.)

We all prayed so much for her safety during this

horrible crisis in Egypt.

Thank you God for answering our prayers!!!

The minute I saw her smiling face I felt at peace again.

I am so thankful to have Stephanie at home again!

We love you Stephanie!

Valley parents anxiously await arrival of daughter who was studying in Egypt

February in Flagstaff, AZ = SNOW

After the retreat in Williams, AZ I was able to spend a couple days with Lauren in Flagstaff!

There was plenty of snow to keep me happy.

I absolutely adored the frigid weather!

Thank you Lauren for a great trip, as always!

I love the time we share together.
