Our last photo shoot in Kansas!

Our last week in Kansas we decided to hold one last photo shoot in our favorite spot; Pillsbury Crossing.
It is a large watering hole with a stunning waterfall.
The reason why it is called a crossing is because vehicles can drive across it & park in the water.
It is a really special location in Manhattan.
~Special Thanks to Chris at La Brisa Photography!~

Kansas Rewind

I forgot to blog about this event back in May - so here it is...
Kansas State University - Vet School Graduation. Our good friends finally finished their tiresome 4 years and are now ready to join Travis in the field!
Brisa & Jocyln are Doctors!
Chris is so proud of his graduate!

Arizona - We are home!

For the BIG MOVE HOME my mom and brother flew to Kansas to assist us with the drive.
(We had a fun last night in Kansas having dinner at my restaurant, Coco Bolos, followed by fun times in Aggieville with our friend Chris).
Once we were all packed up and ready to go we jumped on the road.
The boys drove the 16 foot Penske truck which carried behind Trav's truck, while my mom and I drove my vehicle. After a 20 hour drive we made it home just in time for Father's Day; poor father's both Trav's dad and my dad ended up spending the day helping us move into our new apartment.
(Thank's Dad's). Even though we were unpacking all day, we had a blast with our families!

The Kansas Photo Shoot

For our wedding gift, my brother Chad, surprised both Travis and I with a pair of overalls. He informed us that we would need them to fit in, in Kansas. Of course he meant it as a joke, Manhattan is no where near as 'hick' as other parts of Kansas. But, to have fun before we moved back to the city life in AZ we decided to do a photo shoot in those special overalls, as a surprise to my brother and to remember what a difference Kansas life is to Arizona life.

The photo shoot was so much fun and the pictures actually turned out really good, thanks to http://www.labrisaphotography.com .
Enjoy the photos:

1 YEAR!!!

On Sunday we celebrated our 1 Year Anniversary.
(Can you believe it has already been a year? TIME FLEW BY!)
We decided to make our day special by getting dressed up and having dinner at one of the nicest restaurant in town; Harry's. Harry's is located in the old historic Wareham Hotel which was created in 1925.
The food was delicious and it was the perfect setting to celebrate.
The weather was great, so after dinner we walked around downtown Manhattan and sipped coffee. It was a perfect night!
2 year - here we come!
