Last night we went on a triple date with my brother and sister to see the Broadway play - Wicked! Wicked is the story of how The Wizard of Oz witches became wicked.
Travis and I visited his parents in Payson. It was so nice leaving the scorching heat of Phoenix to smell the sweet aroma of pine trees. We had a lot of fun swimming in a beautiful water hole and hiking through the woods!
We visited Trav's mom, grandma & grandpa and family in Show Low this weekend. It was the first time we had seen all of them since our wedding. We had a blast playing cards, riding on quads, bowling and just laughing. It was a great trip and we were so happy to have had the time to get up there.
I forgot to blog about this event back in May - so here it is...
Kansas State University - Vet School Graduation. Our good friends finally finished their tiresome 4 years and are now ready to join Travis in the field!
For the BIG MOVE HOME my mom and brother flew to Kansas to assist us with the drive. (We had a fun last night in Kansas having dinner at my restaurant, Coco Bolos, followed by fun times in Aggieville with our friend Chris). Once we were all packed up and ready to go we jumped on the road. The boys drove the 16 foot Penske truck which carried behind Trav's truck, while my mom and I drove my vehicle. After a 20 hour drive we made it home just in time for Father's Day; poor father's both Trav's dad and my dad ended up spending the day helping us move into our new apartment. (Thank's Dad's). Even though we were unpacking all day, we had a blast with our families!
