1st Daddy-Daughter Date

Travis wanted to start a very special tradition with Paisley called Daddy-Daughter Dates; something fun that they can regularly do, just the two of them. His first official date was last week when he took Paisley to her 1st Splash Pad! She loved her time with her daddy & he loved his alone time with her :) (Travis took lots of photos because I was jealous that I couldn't be apart of her 1st official Splash Pad adventure - thanks babe!)

Of course being a vet he also wanted to be the first to take her to a pet store...

Haha - very funny!

Someone was wiped out after her very fun first date!

1st WODISKE BOY!

Travis & I assisted with the big GENDER announcement at Kyle & Michelle's Gender Reveal Party... and they will be welcoming a BOY in November.

We couldn't be more excited to have a boy nephew & cousin to Paisley!

A SPECIAL ARIZONA WELCOME to our good friends the Hsiehs -

we are so excited that you have moved to AZ!!!

FIRST'S on her 1ST !!!

Paisley unfortunately woke up on her 1st birthday with an extremely high fever, resulting in us kicking back at home on her special day. She felt pretty crummy so she snuggled in my arms - oh bummer! :)

By the end of the day her fever made sense, her 1ST TOOTH broke through. A painful yet exciting birthday present :) She did however feel well enough to open a few presents & have a sweet visitor stop by :)

2 days before her Birthday Paisley decided to give taking steps on her own a chance. She discovered that it was really fun and has been practicing walking on her own since. (She has fallen a lot, but I love her devotion-she is not giving up!) We are up to 23 steps without falling. It is so precious watching her try to walk, and thankfully we got her first steps on video!!!

HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY PAISLEY JOY!!!

My sweet little blessing is 1 year old today!

This morning I took some special time to reflect on you, Paisley, and this last year of firsts ... and I feel so blessed!! You are a vivacious 1 year old who now takes steps and is ready to conquer the world. You have surprised us with this incredible ombre hair that continues to grown longer and prettier every day and I must say that I have enjoyed playing with it. One of my favorite things is waking you up every morning... I anticipate opening up your bedroom door, seeing your glowing eyes, listening to you shriek with excitement and watching you drop your pacifier and blankly because you are reaching up and ready to be cuddled in my arms; you turn each morning into a beautiful day. I have LOVED every minute I have shared with you, every smile, every snuggle, every kiss, every tear, every milestone and most of all ever giggle! The desire you have to explore and learn makes each day a new adventure filled with silly imitating noises, fun hand games and lots of laughter. You have brought so much JOY into our family and we know God has an incredible journey in store for you! I pray that you continue to grow into a strong woman of God and that I can always be a loving-encouragement to you! You are my beautiful and precious gift and I will always treasure this first year of life we have shared together. You are the definition of JOY! Happy 1st Birthday girlie!
