Jenna & Travis

Wow, I love this couple!! Jenna and Travis are the best. I met Jenna's family when I coordinated Jenna's sister's wedding, Michelle a few years ago and their whole family is amazing, along with Michelle's husband Jason. SO, I was so excited when Jenna contacted me to assist in her planning. Jenna at the time of our planning was an event planner in the corporate world so she brought lots of fun ideas.



I have a lot in common with this couple. Travis had just graduated from Veterinary School and was accepted into the surgical graduate program at Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine. My husband also graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine at KSU. And we now have the same wedding anniversary, June 7th!

My friend Sami Hansen once again was the amazing florist, I think I will go to New York and drag her back to Phoenix.
The bridal party had a ton of fun on a golf cart!
Best wishes Jenna and Travis in cold Kansas, we will be feeling really badly for you this winter :)

THE 1st DAY of FALL!

Today is the 1st day of Fall!  

Can you believe it we have a Fall (A season between summer and winter!) 

This is so exciting - 

the leaves are going to change soon!

Toto's Tacoz

We made a trip to a nearby town named Wamego, KS - just for lunch at a restaurant called: 

Toto's Tacoz.  

(IT WAS WORTH IT!)

Wamego is known for its Wizard of OZ paraphernalia... hence Toto's.  

We will make a trip back to Wamego soon to visit the OZ Museum, the OZ Winery, the OZ coffee shop & of course Toto's.  

FUN STUFF! 

Coloring Contest @ Hastings Coffee Shop

We decided to meet the Hsieh's for coffee late Friday night at Hastings... 

The night ended up in an intense 

coloring contest!  

The Baristas judged our event and crowned the winner... Congrats Brisa!

Our 1st Arizona Visitor - My Brother!

My brother Chad came to visit last week and boy did we have a good time showing him around Manhattan!

The weather was a little unpredictable;

It rained his first two days, 

but his last two days were like an Arizona winter day. (sunny, chilly & in the 50's)

We ate at different local restaurants, 

we took him to K-State's Dairy for their home made ice cream, the Vet School's Annual "Nut Fry", a movie, bowling at the Student Union & of course church - he even got to meet all of our new friends!!!

It was an action packed weekend 

but when it was all said and done 

- good memories were made!
