The beauty of Facebook is that you can stay in touch with people you haven't seen in years.
Last week I met up with some beautiful faces from my past.
Molly (pink shirt) lives in DC now and was in town visiting family so my best friend, Jami (glasses) and I, decided to meet up with her for a glass of wine.
Molly invited Lindsey (blue shirt) on facebook, and the next thing you know... we were all at the same table catching up!
We all played together on a competitive, travel soccer team during our junior and senior years of high school.
- Lindsey and I started playing soccer together when we were in 6th grade, and then we shared more memories together on our high school team. We have known each other for a long time and it was great to catch up! (We hadn't seen each other in 7 years - time flys!)
- Molly and I became close during our time together on both our Sereno and Cisco soccer teams. There was a few of us that would switch teams and leagues together, so we always stayed very close! The last time Molly and I were both in AZ at the same time was 3 years ago. She is a great friend.
It was so much fun reminiscing and laughing
at the way we were back in the day.
