{catching up!!} - APRIL 2014 : Sprint Triathlon

When Travis told me his next goal was a Sprint Triathlon I thought he was crazy.  

But, once I saw how dedicated he was to his training... he proved me wrong!  

Unfortunately, the first race he signed up for was canceled the day before the race, due to the Government Lockout.  So he had to continue his training for an extra 6 months to wait for the next possible race - that took REAL dedication!

Last practice Tri - before the big day! 

 RACE DAY!!! (FINALLY)

Up and at it BRIGHT AND EARLY! 

We had to be at the pool by 5am to prepare (poor Paisley & Mommy!!!)

So Proud of him!!! Off he goes!

Since daddy had a long bike ride ahead, 

I decided to jump in the car and drive around 

to let Paisley get some much needed rest ...

While we were driving, we randomly found daddy 

on the road - too exciting!!!

  3RD & FINAL : RUNNING

 Now that Paisley enjoyed her nap she was full of SMILES and EXCITEMENT for Daddy!

Here we are anxiously awaiting his arrival at the Finish Line :)

 HE DID IT!!

WE are so proud of you!!!

 He received Second Place for his fast time, in his age group!!!

 CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
